Artist Statement

I’m a day dreamer and a humanitarian at heart. I dream of what could be rather than what is. I use humor to address social and environmental issues and to poke fun at the human condition. I make light of those little annoyances in life like standing in a long line for a cup of coffee or getting stuck in a traffic jam. Consumerism is another subject I like to make fun of. It’s important to bring joy and laughter to my audience. We have enough misery in this world, why add to it with miserable art. My illustrations serve as an escape to an alternate reality where mice, aliens, cats, pigs, rabbits and humans coexist in the Cosmos as one big happy family.
